Bruce Hayes, Jr., 36, Identified As Pedestrian Struck And Killed On Highway 27 Monday Evening

Bruce Hayes, Jr., 36, has been identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed at the intersection of South Coulterville Road and Highway 27 at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

The immediate part of Highway 27 where the accident occurred was shut down and traffic was re-routed temporarily through South Coulterville Road, but was re-opened later.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office traffic investigators are investigating the incident.  More information will be released as the investigation continues.
