Tennessee head women's basketball coach Holly Warlick confirmed Monday that senior Isabelle Harrison suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her right knee in the Lady Vols' contest vs. Kentucky on Sundayafternoon.

Harrison, a 6-foot-3 center from Nashville, was injured with19:01 remaining in the second half and was helped from the floor. She is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

"My heart goes out to Izzy, because I know how hard she has worked to become the player she is," Warlick said. "She's meant so much to our program and is everything I want a Lady Vol to be. She will continue to be a valuable part of this team and provide great leadership for the remainder of the season.

"Our team and staff are extremely sad for her. We all know we need to keep carrying on the fight for her. She has a great future ahead of her, and we'll do everything we can to help encourage and support her comeback from this injury."

Harrison averaged 12.8 points and 9.1 rebounds in 20 games this season and became the 39th Lady Vol to reach the 1,000-point plateau on Jan. 29 when she scored 19 points at Kentucky. She has totaled 1,071 points and 778 rebounds, averaging 9.6 points and 7.0 rebounds and shooting 50.4 percent from the field in 111 games during her collegiate career.

"I still want to be there for my team," Harrison said. "This season is not over, and I know my teammates will use this as motivation to pursue the ultimate goal. I will continue to get healthy, and I appreciate all the wishes and support I've received during this time."
