Here are closings due to inclement weather announced for Friday and into the weekend:
UTC will close at 3 p.m. on Friday. Classes are cancelled and offices are closed. The "Rock and Worship Road Show Tour" at the UTC McKenzie Arena is not cancelled.
Doors open at 6 p.m.; event begins at 7 p.m. The UTC Theatre production of "Hedda Gabler" is cancelled for Friday. Saturday's matinee and evening performance are still scheduled at this time.
Due to the hazardous road conditions caused by the inclement weather, CARTA will end service Friday night, after the 9:30 p.m. trips from downtown.
Covenant Allergy and Asthma Care will be closed on Saturday. This includes the office and the allergy shot center. It will reopen on Monday, at 8 a.m., weather permitting.
