A man was wounded on Monday night in Cleveland after a vehicle pulled up and multiple shots were fired.
At 10:37 p.m., Cleveland Police Department officers were dispatched to 2018 Clingan Drive NW on a shots fired call. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, Demitrius George.
He stated he was outside with another person when he noticed a vehicle at the entrance of 2075 Clingan Dr. The vehicle’s bright lights were turned on and the vehicle proceeded toward the victim. Several shots were fired and the victim was struck in the leg.
EMS responded and transported him to the local hospital. Neither victim nor the other person, identified as the victim’s cousin, Dominique George, was able to describe the suspect vehicle.
The Criminal Investigations Division responded to collect evidence.
