Brenda Boren, 68, Killed, 4 Injured In Hixson Pike Crash Friday Afternoon

Brenda Boren, 68, was killed and four were injured in an accident on Friday afternoon on Hixson Pike. 

Around 3 p.m. the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a head-on collision involving two vehicles at the 6800 block of Hixson Pike. It was reported one car going southbound crossed the center line, hitting the other car going northbound.

Four people were transported to a local hospital via Hamilton County EMS. Ms. Boren succumbed to her injuries on the scene. The other four suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
