Norma Binegar
Norma Binegar, 76, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, April 27, 2015.
Mrs. Binegar was born in Somerset, Ky., to the late Alonzo and Artie Whitaker. She was an active member of Hickory Valley Christian Church where she belonged to the 49ers, the quilting club and helped with the kitchen committee. She also was a member of the flying solos and TOTS at Tyner United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Binegar; sons, Michael and Donnie Binegar; her parents; sisters, Ruby Sears, June Thomas, and Edna Whitaker; and brothers, Lonnie and Dennis Whitaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Bob) Fulcher; son, Jeff (Debbie) Binegar; four grandchildren, Jeff (Stacie) Fulcher, Kristen Fulcher, Christina Binegar and Preston Binegar; great-grandson, Luke Fulcher; sisters, Peggy Dotson and Brenda (Roger) Spurlock; brother, Earnie (Beverly) Whitaker; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 1, at Hickory Valley Christian Church, 6605 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
