Dalton State's Sean Elliott Is Finalist For NAIA Golfer Of The Year

Norman, Okla. – Dalton State Sophomore Sean Elliott is one of five finalists for the 2015 NAIA Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award presented by  Barbasol.

Coastal Georgia’s Alastair Tidcombe, Johnson & Wales’ Peter French, Anthony Marchesani of  Oklahoma City and Billy McKenzie of William Woods (Mo,) are the others.

Nicklaus will present the award at a ceremony during the final round of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance at Murfield Village Golf Club.

Elliott has two wins on the season.

Additionally, he has fur runner-up finishes and nine total top tens. He was the individual medalist in the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship, leading the Roadrunners to the conference title.
