Shelbie Davenport
Shelbie Davenport, who started 20 games as a freshman for Clemson, will transfer to play for Jim Foster at UTC, the Murfreesboro Daily News Journal reported.
The former Riverdale star will have to sit out a year, but she will have three years of eligibility remaining.
She was previously recruited by Foster, and UTC had been one of her top choices initially.
Davenport, who was second in scoring (8.6 points) for Clemson, said she wanted to be closer to home.
She averaged 28 minutes a game for the ACC squad and she connected on 43 3-point shots.
She had 37 steals.
