A Thank You lunch was held celebrating EMJ Corporation and their employees’ successful fundraising for Bowl for Kids’ Sake on Friday. A lunch by Taco Mamacita, cookies donated by The Mellow Mushroom, and ice cream donated by Buffalo Wild Wings made the day.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga’s Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake event was held on April 18 at Holiday Bowl Brainerd. With nearly 40 teams participating in 2 sessions throughout the day, the event was considered a great success by organizers, with close to $60,000 raised to date.

Officials said, "Congratulations to Team Man in the Hole from EPB for the overall highest score, earning them the cash prize of $500. Bowl for Kids’ Sake wouldn’t be possible without the active involvement, participation and fundraising by the employees of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. A special thanks to the employees of EMJ Corporation who were instrumental in making the event a huge success."

Bowl for Kids’ Sake ensures more Bigs and Littles will be matched up, more friendships will be made, and improved outlooks on life will be started. This year, three National Pan-Hellenic Council teams competed including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
