Carrie Moore
Carrie Lancaster Moore, 52, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in a local hospital.
She was a 1980 graduate of Howard High School.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Lancaster, Sr.; mother, Odell (Troy) Teague; son, Julius Moore; brothers, Theodore Lancaster, Jr. and Ted Lancaster; sisters, Delphine Lancaster, Theadora Lancaster, Burline Lancaster, and Nellie Horton; grandmothers, Carrie Halfacre and Verona Lancaster.
Survivors include daughters, Julia (Titus, IV) Bates and Kawanna Jackson both of Chattanooga; two grandchildren; brother, Ricardo Lee of Washington, DC; sisters, Rhonda Lee of Washington, DC, Lisa Lancaster and LaShannon Byers, both of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
She will lie-in-state on Wednesday, July 1, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
