Curtis Brown
Curtis Brown, Sr., 60, died on July 24, 2015 at a local hospital.
He attended Riverside High School and was a member of New. Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Curtis was employed for 42 years at the Chattanooga Housing Authority and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his sons, Kevin Green, Curtis (Samantha) Brown, Jr., Aaron Brown; daughter, Sherrina Brown; sisters, Carolyn Joseph, Norma Hill; uncle, Gene Thornton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug 1, at New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Pastor Floyd Whiteside, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, July 31, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
