James Harvey Rice, 68, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his home.
He was employed by Shaw Industries and retired after 37 years of dedicated service. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Woodlawn Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amon and Liddie Rice, Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Alma Ford Rice of Trenton, GA; two sons, Charlie Rice and Martin Rice of Trenton, GA; two grandchildren, Gwendolyn Nation and Justin Rice; one great-grandson, Nathan Nation, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at Ford Family Cemetery with Robert Goff officiating.
Arrangements are by Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, GA.
