Marvin Webb
Marvin Melvin Webb was born on April 1, 1944, and died on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Memorial Hospital.
He attended New Bethel Baptist Church. He grew up in Spring City and moved to Harrison in 1968. He retired from ICI (Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant) and Allied Signal (Bendix). He dearly loved his family and being a papaw. Mr. Webb was well known at Snow Hill Rec League as Papaw, and for his love of horses and cattle, and raising and breeding gamecocks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Yuke and Belle Webb; brothers, JT, Max, and Clarence Webb; sisters, Irene Christen and Wilma Munday.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ruby Webb; son, Michael Davis; daughter, Joy (Mark) Pauley; grandchildren, Starla Flowers, Brittany (Eric) Faulkner, Zachary Davis, and Cory Pauley; great grandchildren, Cole and Zoie Flowers, Riley and Braden Davis, Zeb and Zayden (MO MO) Stuart; brother, Junior Webb of Crossville; sisters, Ruth Meeks of Ohio, Judelle Graves, and Maybell Hill of Spring City; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 2-8 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Stephen Grainger officiating. Interment will follow in New McDonald Cemetery.
