Sheriff Eric Watson announced that the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office will maintain a substation at the McDonald fire hall near the old McDonald School and McDonald Ruritan location.
Sheriff Watson said, “This is the first McDonald BCSO substation in memory, and we are extremely glad we’ll be able to share space with the McDonald Fire/Rescue units. We will hold roll calls from that location, giving our officers the chance to be close to areas heavily patrolled daily.”
The new Bradley County sheriff’s office substation at the McDonald fire station will be dedicated on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
“This will save both our officers and citizens’ time when filling out reports, as well,” said Sheriff Watson, “It’s a win-win situation for the public in that area, BCFR and your sheriff’s office.”
