Ann Barry Talbott, 88, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, September 2, 2015.

Ann was a native of Louisville, Ky., and a graduate of Nazareth College now Spalding University in Louisville. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Chattanooga. Following her marriage in Kentucky in 1951, she and her husband moved to Chattanooga and remained here the rest of her life. Ann was the daughter of the late Thomas William and Mary Goering Barry of Louisville. 

After rearing her family, Mrs. Talbott went to work with Habitat for Humanity when it first formed in Chattanooga and served as secretary/bookkeeper/clerk through the years and became the office manager, completing 20 years with the organization, and retired in 2006.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Talbott, Sr. and her parents.

Ann is survived by her five children, two daughters, Ann Barry (Robert) Greever of Soddy Daisy and Mary Goering ( William) Barbee of Cartersville, GA; three sons, Charles (Michelle) Talbott of Gallatin TN, Thomas Talbott Chattanooga, and Ben Johnson (Debra) Talbott of Newport News, VA.; one sister, Dorothy Lee Krusenklaus; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

 A funeral mass will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, at St. Jude Catholic Church.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, Sept. 4, from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.

Private interment will be at later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to the St. Jude Catholic Church-Building Fund.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
