Police have arrested two women nicknamed “Kee Kee” and “Dee Dee” in connection with the aggravated robbery of three women at the 1300 block of Arlington Avenue.
The victims told police that they arrived at the Woodlawn apartment complex to meet up with a friend on September 6.
One said that while her friends were inside the apartment, two black males approached the vehicle and opened the door.
She told them to get away and they complied.
However, they said that when the other two victims returned, they were then approached by a group of five to six black females, two of whom were armed with handguns.
They said that they recognized the two as “Kee Kee” and “Dee Dee,” but they didn’t know their real names.
The victims were allegedly ordered out of the car at gunpoint and then searched for money. They said that $400 and their cell phones were taken.
A computer check showed that “Kee Kee’s” real name is Shaquille Burks, 22, and “Dee Dee’s” real name is Dextiny Staples, 19.
These two suspects were identified from a photo lineup as the females who held the victims at gunpoint.
