Leadership Chattanooga Hosts 30th Anniversary Bash

  • Friday, September 4, 2015

Leadership Chattanooga hosts a bash to celebrate 30 years of cultivating Chattanooga’s leaders on Friday, Sept. 18, from 7-11 p.m. at the Church on Main, 1601 Rossville Ave.

“This is not only about celebrating Leadership Chattanooga, but about the transformation of our community,” said Diane Parks, director of Leadership and Community Development at the Chamber. “Thirty years ago was a low point in our history, and a group of Chattanoogans decided this program was necessary to move the city forward, which it has. Now we have more than 1,200 graduates and classes have grown to 40 participants each year.”

Leadership Chattanooga program curriculum addresses leadership skills training and various issues in the community, and participants complete projects with Hamilton County schools and local nonprofits. Leadership Chattanooga graduates include CEOs as well as local, state and national elected officials.

Tickets are $75 per person and include valet parking, wine and beer, heavy hors d’oeuvres. Attire is dressy casual. Tickets are available online at www.leadcha30.eventbrite.com.  Silver sponsors for the event are SunTrust and TVA, with Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough as a bronze sponsor.
