Supt. Rick Smith And Sheriff Jim Hammond To Hold Afternoon Press Conference About Ooltewah High School Basketball Situation

Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Rick Smith has scheduled a press conference for 3 p.m. on Monday in the Hamilton County Department of Education Board Room, 3074 Hickory Valley Road. 

Supt. Smith said he will be addressing some issues as they relate to the Ooltewah High School basketball situation. 

Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond plans to attend to deal with specific questions pertaining to the Ooltewah criminal investigation, it was stated.

The team's season was canceled after three players were charged with the aggravated rape of a 15-year-old teammate at Gatlinburg.
