Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park announces the waiver of entrance fees to enter Point Park on top of Lookout Mountain, Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

"Experience the majestic views from Chattanooga’s surrounding landscapes found in our nation’s first National Military Park. Celebrate Dr. King’s legacy by spending quality time walking through Point Park, while reflecting on his 'I have a Dream' speech, which prominently featured Lookout Mountain," officials said.

All park entrance fees, including commercial tour entrance fees, will be waived.

"This fee-free Monday provides an opportunity for individuals and families alike to take an affordable day to explore a nearby national treasure," park officials said.
