Fire Damages Home On Frawley Road In East Ridge

Fire caused some $30,000 in damages to an East Ridge home early Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported at 529 Frawley Road.

Upon arrival of East Ridge Fire and Police heavy smoke and fire was found coming from the single-family dwelling.  Fire crews made an interior attack and quickly extinguished the fire.

The occupant had gotten out prior to fire department arrival. He had been trying to extinguish the fire, but was unsuccessful.

He was checked by Lifeguard EMS and refused treatment.

East Ridge Squad One, Squad Two, Quint One, Engine One, Engine Two, Support One, Battalion One, Lifeguard EMS, and East Ridge Police responded.
