Jack Lee
Retired MSGT Jack P. Lee, 84, of Ooltewah, died on Sunday, January 17, 2016.
A resident of the Chattanooga area most of his life, he was retired from U.S. Air Force after 36 years of dedicated service and was a member of the Ooltewah Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Ooltewah Masonic Lodge #741 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Nicholson Lee; daughter, Janice Lee Fain; Lenoir City, TN; son Eric (Virginia) Lee, Signal Mountain, TN; four grandchildren Jessica and Megan Fain, Sophia and Maria Lee; brother, L.S. Lee; two sisters, Jane Lee and Sue (Lawrence) Hamrick. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Mitchell Fain.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Reverend Chris Gaither officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at: stjude.org or to your favorite charity.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
