The Hamilton County Board of Education has called a Special Session on Wednesday at 6 p.m., or immediately following an executive session. The purpose of the special called session will be "for consideration of action regarding the Ooltewah High School boys basketball team and for review of school board policy and procedures regarding bullying and hazing."
This will be a public meeting that will follow a closed meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The board will meet in executive session "to hear from the attorneys regarding matters needing the attention of the Board. Executive sessions are closed sessions."
Three members of the Ooltewah high basketball team have been charged with aggravated rape of a teammate, with a pool cue, at a rental cabin in Gatlinburg.
