The ICON: Michael Jackson Tribute will be held Saturday, Oct, 22, from 6:30-11 p.m. at the Jazzanooga Arts Space, 431 East MLK Blvd.

He was born with the name Michael Joseph Jackson. He was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor.  

Called the "King of Pop" his contributions to music, dance, and fashion along with his publicized personal life made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades.  He was an ICON.  

The night will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a look in raw and candid detail, Michael Jackson's This Is It which captures the singer, dancer, filmmaker, architect, creative genius and great artist at work as he creates and perfects his planned final London shows.  This part of the evening is free with limited seating.

MJ Karaoke and Dance with DJ JStar on the 1s & 2s will begin at 8:30 p.m. This part of the event is ticketed at $10.  A cash bar will be provided.
