Gwyneira Jones Payne, 77, of Cohutta, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Predru Wynne Parry and Dora Evelyn Jones; and brother, Michael Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Payne; daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Tommy Goddard of Cohutta; sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Cynthia Payne of Winston, GA and Stephen and Julie Payne of Tequesta, FL; sisters, Beryl Needle of Finedon, England, Eirwen Bailey and Glennys Mitchell, both of Perth, Australia; grandchildren, Jennifer Payne, Megan Payne, Taylor Kelly, Nicole Payne, Christian Goddard and Lindsey Payne; and great-granddaughter, Scotlyn Esther Kelly.
The funeral service to honor the life of Gwyneira Payne will be held Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. at Cohutta First Baptist Church with Rev. John Bagley officiating.
The family will receive friends at Cohutta First Baptist Church on Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cohutta First Baptist Church or Union United Methodist Church of Morris, GA.
