Romeatrius Moss, DNP, MSN, APHN-BC and founder of Black Nurses Rock has returned to Chattanooga for the inaugural Black Nurses Rock convention being held at the Chattanoogan Hotel that begins Thursday.

An award winning health professional speaker, community celebrity, and active duty Air Force Nurse, Dr. Moss has created hundreds of health focused programs and projects over the last 20 years. Originally from Chattanooga, where she participated in Girls Inc. in the 1990's, Dr. Moss began her work with non-profits at the age of 15, serving as the youngest board member for United Way of Greater Chattanooga.

Dr, Moss credits the foundation for her success to her experience at Girls Inc. and to show her appreciation, the conference's Friday night Cupcake Social will benefit Girls Inc.  which is being held at 5 p.m. in the Chattanoogan Hotel's Amphitheater. The public is invited to the event.
