Larkin, Roberta Smith (Tunnel Hill)

Roberta Smith Larkin, 80, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016.

She was born on April 17, 1936 to the late Otto and Anna Smith. Roberta was a lifelong resident of this area and a follower of Jesus Christ. She loved reading and sewing, but most importantly she cherished time spent with her family.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Larkintwin sons Stanley and Steven Larkin; and her brother Charles Smith.

She is survived by her daughter Angela M. Morrison (Bobby) and brothers Harold T. Smith (Brenda) and Terry G. Smith (Cathy); grandson Luke S. Morrison; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. 

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday Oct. 24 at Companion Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Asble officiating. Interment will follow the service at Whitfield Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family request the memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Cleveland, TN Manna Ministry in Roberta’s memory. 

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
