Greg Martin To Be Sworn Into County Commission Post On Tuesday

Hamilton County Commissioner Elect Greg Martin will be sworn into office on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the fourth-floor commission room of the historic Hamilton County Courthouse.

He will replace Marty Haynes, who is now the assessor of property.

Dr. Martin, who is leaving his county school board seat, was the choice at a county Republican caucus.

He was opposed in the election by Joe Smith, who ran as an Independent.
