The Cleveland Blue Raider wrestling team opened its season with a win over Northwest Whitfield at Cleveland Wednesday, the winners earning four pins en route to a 45-28 victory.
Seth Garcia, Garret Bowers, Colton Landers and Cody Mathews earned pins for the Blue Raiders while Michael Robles and Coty Carlock both had pins for Northwest Whitfield.
Other winners for Cleveland included Jayce Mullin by technical fall, Zach Brezna by a major decision, Bryce Pond and Caleb Eachus by regular decisions and Garrett Stevenson by forfeit.
