Artavias Jenkins
Artavias Danyell “Peaches” Jenkins, 42, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in a local hospital.
She was employed with Mohawk Industries.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Willie James Cottrell, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Juanzelle C. Jenkins; son, Dominque Jones; step-sons Jyuan Jenkins, Juanzell Jenkins, all of Chattanooga; and Deosha McColley, of Texas; daughters, Misheal McColley and Mirakle McColley; step-daughter, Kiana Jenkins; father, Willie J. Cottrell, Jr.; mother, Janis L. Cottrell; grandparents, Betty Jenkins, Pauline Cottrell, and Jimmy Bush, Sr.; brothers, Stargell Cottrell and Darrell Fearn, Sr.; sisters, Teresa Lyle, Deana Scruggs, and Christina Crowder; mother-in-law, Deatrice Craddock; father-in-law, William Jenkins; brothers-in-law, Joe Jenkins, Jason Jenkins (Raquel), and Maurice (Renee) Jenkins; sister-in-law, Cherish McKibben, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state on Saturday, Dec. 10, after 1:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Norma Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
