Two Chattanooga men have been charged by federal authorities with kidnapping a young girl in Atlanta and holding her for several months in Chattanooga, where they hired her out for sex for money.
Corrie Gillispie and Willie Watkins are charged with conspiracy, kidnapping and sex trafficking.
Gillispie, 40, is also known as Big Tyme, Chattanooga Tyme and Profit Tyme..
Watkins, also 40, is known as Block Baker, Soldier and Killer.
They were arrested Thursday by agents of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and Chattanooga Police Department.
They had been indicted by a federal Grand Jury on May 17.
The indictment says the girl was younger than 15.
It says she was held as a sex slave in Chattanooga from Aug. 9 to Dec. 15, 2015.
The pair appeared on Thursday before Magistrate Chris Steger and were ordered to be detained.
If convicted of kidnapping, Gillispie and Watkins face up to life in prison. If convicted of sex trafficking, Gillispie faces a term of not less than 15 years in prison and will be placed on the sex offender registry for a minimum of 25 years.
This ongoing investigation is being conducted by the HSI, FBI and Chattanooga Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jay Woods represents the United States.
