Chattanooga Police made four arrests early Wednesday morning after chasing a car believed to be involved in multiple shootings.

During routine patrol at 1:17 a.m., Chattanooga Police Officer Hunter Morgan observed a white Dodge Charger that was suspected to have been involved in multiple shots fired and shooting calls.

The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the suspect failed to stop. Instead, the suspect fled at a high rate of speed, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed down a steep embankment.

The occupants of the vehicle then ran into the woods. Chattanooga Police officers immediately contained the area in which the suspects were hiding.

One suspect was located and arrested without incident. Another suspect was located and apprehended by Chattanooga Police Officer Steven Meador and his K9 Duco. Two additional suspects were located and apprehended near the scene of the wreck.

The investigation revealed that the white Dodge Charger was stolen.

Inside the vehicle police located an SKS assault rifle, a Tech 9 handgun, and a Glock .45 caliber handgun.

Anthony Jackson, 26, was charged on a warrant for possession of cocaine for resale.

Cordarius Sales, 22, and two juvenile males were charged with evading arrest.

Police said additional charges are pending.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525.
