Republican candidate Marty Haynes brought in $56,042 in the last campaign period, while Democrat Mark Siedlecki had $49,472.
The Siedlecki total included $30,829 he loaned the campaign at the end of June.
Mr. Haynes, a member of the County Commission, had loaned his campaign $25,000 last December when he was in a GOP primary fight.
The Haynes contributions include $1,500 from James Hutcherson, Geoffrey Holden and Rep. Gerald McCormick.
Other Haynes gifts included $1,339.95 from Steve Hunt and $1,100 from School Board member Greg Martin and wife Shelia.
He got $1,000 from Senator Bo Watson, Greg Vital, Franklin Farrow, Roshan Amin, CBB Real Estate Partners, Duane Carleo, Dr. Marc Cromie, Bucky Wolford, Noon Development, Bill Raines, Jeff McKamey, Rep. Marc Gravitt, Jan Melton, Geoffrey Ramsey, John Healy/Ethan and Matt Wood, Homebuilders PAC, Martin and Mitzi Hamby, and Canyon LLC.
Others were $945 from Steve and Amanda Hall, $960.70 from Mark Schmissrauter, Jay Jolley, Chris Curtis and Rusty McKee,and $750 from Kathryn Greenholtz and Kent Keasler.
Gifts of $500 were from Lonnie McGee, Karla McKamey Valadez, John Holder, Travis Hutchinson, Frank Kinser, Cynthia and Les Lee, Bob and Sherry Mason, Steve Dillard, Bruce Zeiser, Ryan Allen, Steve Corder, Chris Crimmins, Jerry Mitchell, Don Harris and Thunder Thornton.
Mr. Siedlecki received $1,500 from Thomas Faulkner, Sarah Faulkner, Rep. Jim Cooper, Ironworkers 704, Kincaid Mills and James Mills.
He received $1,000 from Craig Fitzhugh, Tri State PAC and Mark Hite. He received $500 from John Allen Brooks, Bill Aiken, Chip Forrester, John Henry, Mark Hackett, Randy Durham and Beth Stetar.
