Cox, Annie Ruth Gasaway (Dalton)

Annie Ruth Gasaway Cox, 95, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Bob Cox, Jr.; and her son-in-law, David Clement.

Annie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dalton and worked alongside her husband at Bob’s Bait Shop.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Cox Clement of Dalton; son, David Cox of Dalton; grandson and his wife, Chris and Karen Clement of Rocky Face; great-granddaughters, Carly and Katie Clement of Rocky Face; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Max Reese of Ranger, Ga; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Annie will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
