Charlie the Head is a Chattanooga based progressive jazz group that delivers a fusion of old standards, original music and modern funk.

After graduation, Todd traveled and performed before finally moving to Chattanooga to form his own group Resident guitar wizard and Chattanooga native Stephen Powers graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in jazz studies.

Upon returning to his home town, he has been staying busy both as a private music instructor and as a performing artist. Completing the low end of the sound spectrum is bassist Ryan Crabtree. Also originally from Chattanooga,
