Senator Bob Corker, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on Saturday called for the details of the Syria ceasefire agreement to be made available to the United States Senate.
On Friday in Geneva, Switzerland, Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced the U.S. and Russia have reached a ceasefire agreement in war-torn Syria.
“We have inquired with the administration about the details of the ceasefire agreement in Syria and have been referred to the public comments made by Secretary Kerry and Foreign Minister Lavrov,” said Senator Corker.
“We think it is appropriate for the details to be made fully available to all parties involved, including the United States Senate.”
