Charles “Charlie” Raymond Newt, Jr., 47, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away Monday September 19, 2016.
Mr. Newt worked as an electrical journeyman lineman and he was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years Kimberly Newt; daughter Emily Newt; two sons Steven and Nathan Newt; god-son Andrew Miles; two grandsons Caden and Tristen Newt; and daughter-in-law Shelby Newt; special parents Becky and Wiley Frizzell, Linda and David Patterson and Bobby Brummett; and special friends Mike Privett and Bertie Oliver Smith.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 28 in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Denney officiating. Mr. Newt, Jr. will be laid to rest in Trenton Baptist Cemetery following the service.
Family will receive friends 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, who has charge of the arrangements.
