James Kelsey
James Riley Kelsey, 62, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena M. Kelsey; brother, Frederick Kelsey; grandmothers, Lola Richardson and Willie Lee Kelsey; grandfather, Burner Richardson.
Survivors include his father, Emanuel Kelsey, Jr. of Chattanooga; brothers, Larry (Delores) Kelsey, Broderick (Tanya) Kelsey, both of Chattanooga, Gregory (Debrah) Kelsey, Chris (Veronica) Kelsey, both of Griffin, GA, and Kim (Glenda) Kelsey of Douglasville, GA; sister, Cathy (Henry) Hester of Chattanooga; aunt, Rosa Reeves of Griffin, GA; seven nieces; seven nephews; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Wednesday, Oct. 5, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct. 6, at noon in the chapel with Pastor Gerald Spence as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
