Virginia J. “Ann” Clark, 84, of Trussville, Alabama, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 at the East Glenn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Birmingham.

Mrs. Clark was born in Menlo, GA on Jan. 28, 1932, to the late Joseph Erskine Hardwick and Minnie Lee Chappelear Hardwick. She was a member of Clear Branch United Methodist Church and enjoyed yard sales and collecting antiques. She was a past recipient of the Birmingham Beautification Award.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by a son Alton Grant Clark; and three sisters, Pauline Maxey, Foy Lee Styles and Mittie Bell Copeland.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Donna Clark of Trussville, AL; sister, Jo Trammel of Trion; grandson and his wife, Bradley and Beth Clark: and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment services for Mrs. Clark will be held Monday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. in the Alpine Cemetery with Rev. Skip Mitchell officiating.

Mrs. Clark will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home;, however the family has no formal visitation planned.

Coffman Funeral Home, Petitt Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
