Erlanger Health System Offers Free Weight Loss Seminar And Webinar

Erlanger Health System Metabolic and Bariatric SurgeryCenter will host monthly seminars and live online webinars to discuss various solutions for encouraging and managing weight loss. Seminars will take place at 6 p.m. at Erlanger on Volkswagen Drive and webinars will begin at 7 p.m.

Obesity is a complex condition involving one’s eating habits, physical activity levels, heredity and socio-cultural norms. It can also lead to many life-threatening health problems, such as heart or lung disease, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, asthma, GERD, joint degeneration, hypertension, and many types of cancer.

Seminars are designed to help those interested in Bariatric surgery and other weight loss solutions. Led by the team at Erlanger Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Center, seminars review the various types of weight loss surgery options available, as well as what patients can expect to experience before, during and after a surgical procedure.

The staff at Erlanger Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Center understands the challenges of weight loss and is dedicated to assisting with achieving lasting results.
