Vera Mae Looney
Vera Mae Looney, 82, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017.
Vera was a member and active leader of song and mission at the Jasper Church of Nazarene. She graduated from Marion County High School in 1952. She volunteered at Cornerstone Community as a cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Rose Graham and brother, Orville Graham.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Samuel G. (Donnette) Moore; daughter, Charlotte Rose (Jeff) Neider; brother, John Houston (Frances) Graham; sister, (Sil) Louise Graham; several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Tate Funeral Home Saturday, Sept. 30, from 4-8 p.m. CST.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Church of Nazarene Sunday, Oct. 1, at 5 p.m. CST. with Bro. Bill Ross officiating.
