Donald Ware “Chip” Hixon, Jr., 58, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at his home.
He was a graduate of East Ridge High School and owned Chip Hixon Finishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gaye Hixon; parents, Donald Ware Hixon, Sr. and Barbara Dietzen Hancock and a sister, Tracy Hixon.
Survivors include two daughters, Lindsay Hixon and Lauren Hixon (Steven) Chann; one son, Daniel Hixon; one grandson, Nalin Ware Hansen; two sisters, Gail H. Richardson and Donna H. Mitchell.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn.
