Joyce Mae Holt, 83, of Chickamauga, passed away Nov. 23, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister. Joyce was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her son, Perry Holt, parents Jim and Annie Mae Thompson two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 66 years, Jack Holt; daughter Cindy Lewis, Hixson; sons Allen Holt, Neal Holt, and Kris Holt all of Chickamauga; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Hazel Davis, Pisgah, Al. and Rena Wright, Scottsboro, Al; and brother Leonard Thompson, Dutton, Al.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lakewood West Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday 4-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
