Barbara Mumpower
Barbara Jean Mumpower, 73, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Bernice Goodwin and sister, Joyce Bradley.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Buddy Mumpower; sisters, Nancy Smith and Lynn Goodwin; brother, Eddie Goodwin; children, Bill Mumpower, Rebecca Sue Crites (Mike) and Bonnie Mumpower Dodson (Charles); grandchildren, Leah and Evan Mumpower, Rachel Riehle (Nick) and Sarah Shelton Sacknievich (Cristian); several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 6221 Shallowford Rd. #102, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
A visitation will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel on Wednesday from 9-11 a.m.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Eric Stitts officiating. A graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at noon.
Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
