Bob Sylar
Robert “Bob” Houston Sylar, Sr., a life-long Chattanooga resident, died on November 26, 2017.
He worked at Provident Life for 30 years.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia L. Pack (1995) of Spring City, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Sylar of Ooltewah; daughter Sherry Sylar and her spouse Roxanne Adams of New York, son Robert H. Sylar Jr. and his spouse Amie Sylar of Chattanooga, grandson Patrick Robert Sylar of Chattanooga; sisters Betty Stocker and Ethelwyn Arnold, nephews Mike Stocker, Tim and Peter Arnold, nieces Susan Stocker and Wendy Arnold, all of Chattanooga, and 10 step-grandchildren.
