Carolyn Joan Palmer, 74, of Chickamauga, GA. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 27, 2017 surrounded by her three daughters. She attended Glory Road Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Claude and Zora Bell Taylor; two infant sons; one grand-daughter, Brandy Lively; one sister, Brenda Shirley; one brother, Ronnie Taylor.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James Palmer; three daughters, Corina (Eddie) Young, Rhonda (Daryel) Sisk and Joy (Kenny) Fletcher; two sisters, Glenda Kelley and Shirley Smith; four grandchildren, Quinn, Jonathon, Shane and Madison; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 2-8 p.m.at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Richard Kennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Chickamauga City Cemetery.
