David Wayne Simmons, 49, of Rossville, passed away Nov. 4, 2017. Mr. Simmons was a lifelong resident of the area, was of the Baptist faith and worked for over the past 30 years in his automobile restoration business.
David is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Simmons.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Christy Simmons; parents Malcom Simmons (Linda Grider), mother, Margie Morton; children, Ashley Simmons Gasaway (Joshua) and Levi Simmons; siblings, Allen Simmons, Mike Simmons, Tina Honeycutt, Josh Simmons, Michael Grider, Daniel Grider and David Grider; two grandchildren, Kori Raylen Gasaway and David Kain Ryken Gasaway.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday Nov. 11 from the Word of Faith Tabernacle,1408 Happy Valley Road, Rossville, Ga. 30741 from 6-8 p.m. with Rocky Bradford and Bobby Webb officiating.
