The Salvation Army Hosts Its Annual Christmas Eve Brunch For The Homeless Sunday

  • Wednesday, December 20, 2017

The Salvation Army will host the homeless and its McCallie Avenue neighborhood at a Christmas Eve Brunch this Sunday at 10 a.m. in the ReCreate Café, 800 McCallie Ave. Christmas presents will be given to the homeless who attend.

Monetary donations are needed to assist with this year’s increase in Christmas need and to help close the gap from being behind last year’s red kettle collections, officials said. Donations can be made by visiting www.csarmy.org, by calling 1-800-Sal-Army or mailed to: The Salvation Army, 822 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, Tn.

37403. Giving can also be made by texting the word “donation” to 91999.
