Anita Brown
Anita “Gail’’ Brown, 62, lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at her home.
She attended Central Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Edward W. Brown; and her parents, Eugene and Imogene Woods.
Survivors include her late husband’s daughters, Sherrie McConnell (Steve) of Cleveland, Mary Collins (Craig) of Destin, Florida; four grandchildren, Houston McConnell ( Beth), Grayson McConnell, Molly McConnell and Maggie Yarbrough; three great-grandchildren;, Rylie Yarbrough and Owen and Maddox McConnell; her loving sister, Eugenia McGuire and one brother, Eddie D. Woods (Vivian); Aunt, Billie D. Geren Harris; special friends, Ken and Bobbie Jones and Lisa Garner; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Entombment will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Steve McConnell, Houston McConnell, Grayson McConnell, Ken Jones, Jeff King and Gene Garner will serve as pallbearers.
