Toriq Q. Johnson, Jr., 19, passed away on March 14, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sherrilyn Saleem and James Cartwright; Aunt Stephanie Boykin; uncles, Jarrett Boykin, Sr. and Anthony Spears, Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Valarie Cartwright and Toriq Johnson, Sr.; brothers JaMichael and Tavarious Johnson; sisters, Jasmin Johnson, ShaTariq Bonds, and Toriana Johnson; sister-cousins, Lakisha Hill and Lashundra McDade.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state on Friday, March 24, after noon at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
