James Edward Reed Jr., 53, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away at his home Wednesday April 5, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Reed; and sister Nancy Bryant.
He is survived by his children Jamie Reed and Shelly Lau; four grandchildren; siblings Patti Caldwell, Evelyn Reed, Gary Wingfield, Danny Reed and Marie Henderson; his father James Red Sr. (Lucy); and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be having a small memorial service Sunday, April 9, at 1 p.m. CST at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in New Hope. Please come tell us a story about Jimmy. He made friends easily and always had a joke ready to tell. He will be missed by many.
